Crystal is a member of DART’s Rideshare program and vanpools to work four times a week. She enjoys saving money on gas and reducing the wear and tear on her car. In addition, Crystal likes being able to catch up on work during her commute and not having to worry about driving in rush hour traffic or inclement weather. 

 

Crystal’s advice to someone who is considering using an alternative commute option is to at least try it on a trial basis. “You’ll be amazed at the amount of money that you save,” she says. “You may discover that it really works with your schedule, and you may meet some new and interesting people too!”
